What is Funding Interval?
The funding interval is the cadence at which an exchange settles funding payments. Most venues use 1h, 4h, or 8h; a few settle daily. Hyperliquid and several Solana DEXs use 1h; Binance and many CEXs use 8h.
A longer interval concentrates the same annualized rate into fewer, larger payments. To compare venues fairly you must annualize — see APR.
